The Tariku Metals Company is a Ethiopia based manufacturer and supplier with headquarters in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. The company provides high quality metal products across various industries ensuring precision and durability. Invar 36 bar and rod are highly ordered by customers for their low thermal expansion properties coupled with superior strength. Such aerospace and electronic industry-requirement-stiff standards meet these bars and rods made up. Customer-centric innovation and satisfactory service in service and satisfaction at Tariku Metals set the business partner preference at metal solution needs at all points globally.
Invar 36 bar and rod is an iron-nickel alloy containing 36% nickel. It has an exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion. Its conventional composition contains about 0.2% carbon, about 0.35% manganese, about 0.5% silicon, and traces of sulfur and phosphorus, with the rest being iron. The alloy has a density of 8.1 g/cm³ and a tensile strength of about 490 MPa, with yield strength about ~240 MPa. The product possesses about 160 HB hardness and about 42% of elongation. Invar 36 is recommended for precision instrument, cryogenic applications, aerospace components, or any other thing that requires it to be precisely dimensionally stable.

Yes, Invar 36 bar and rod can be welded, but it requires special care due to its low expansion properties. Proper welding techniques, such as TIG or MIG, are recommended.
Yes, specific welding consumables for Invar 36 bar and rod include Invar 36 electrodes, TIG rods, and MIG wires. These materials ensure proper fusion and minimize thermal expansion issues during welding.
Invar 36 rod, primarily composed of iron and nickel, is not highly susceptible to galvanic corrosion. However, when exposed to more noble metals in corrosive environments, it can experience some galvanic effects.
A low-expansion alloy containing iron and nickel, invar 36 bar and rod has substantial applications in minimum thermal expansion. It is often used in the form of a bar and rod in precision instruments such as measuring tapes, gauges, and laser equipment for maintaining stability in all temperatures. It is further an application in various components of aircraft, including satellite structures and instruments, where dimensional stability is needed. In addition, Invar 36 is used in the production of precision molds, cryogenic tanks, and for precise parts in the electronics industry, where it finds use due to its resistance to deformation under thermal stress.
